Spring like and Alpinesque
29th March 2024
A beautiful day in Glencoe today. Light winds, and some nice sunshine in the morning after a cold night. There is still some good snow coverage above 900 metres on North to East slopes on the major summits. The mountains looking alpinesque against the blue skies.
Summit Buttress Stob Coire nan Lochan
Stob na Broige, on the right, Stob na Doire, centre, and Stob Dearg left. The great ridge of Buachaille Etive Mor
The Aonach Eagach ridge.
Stob Coire Raineach. You can see the deposition from the Easterly winds, earlier in the week on the LHS of the ridge.
Looking across to Sgreamhach, and point 931 on Beinn Fhada. The fine mountaineering ridge of Sron na Lairig on the left disappearing into the cloud.
