Calmer, dry today, mild and wet outlook.

Much calmer conditions are now affecting the area. A trace of new snow fell on the higher slopes overnight. Today has been mainly dry with freezing levels rising through the course of the day.

Outlook is very mild, wet and windy. Persistent, occasionally heavy rain will affect all levels overnight and on Tuesday, freezing levels will be well above the summits and winds will be strong South-Westerly.
