Early morning sunshine

24th March 2025

The sun was shining first thing this morning in Glencoe, that soon changed as cloud developed over the higher summits. The hills most inland in our area such as Meall a Bhuiridh held onto the sunshine for longest while the more coastal hills were in the cloud earlier. Rain at all levels then followed later in the afternoon and will continue into the early part of the night. Showers will clear to give a dry day tomorrow. It will remain relatively mild with temperatures on the highest summits in Glencoe just above freezing during the day. Photos today were taken first thing this morning so might not be representative of the weather those in the hills in Glencoe experienced later in the day.
