Light falls of new snow.

16th January 2026

Light falls of new snow affected slopes above 500 metres  overnight, today was mainly dry. Further light falls of new snow are possible tonight then mainly dry but becoming a bit milder. Areas of weakly bonded windslab remain in some sheltered gullies and on wind sheltered slopes, some of these areas have suspect cornices, check out the report for more information.
