Stormy conditions. New snow and very strong winds.

Stormy conditions affected the area today with very strong East-South-East winds and new snow on slopes above 600 metres. Much of the new snow was blown away but weakly bonded windslab is forming in wind sheltered gullies and hollows. More snow is forecast tonight becoming drier and less windy on Wednesday. Check the report for more details.
