A fine bright sunny morning with high cloud starting to build from mid-day. Â A light covering of fresh snow on the tops after a chilly night, which was thawing as the day warmed up. Â Remaining old snow patches mainly on North to East aspects above 950 metres. Â Busy in the Glen, with most of the carparks full.
Another cold night forecast, which will firm up the old snow patches for Tuesday morning, but generally dry, with a fresh Southerly wind. Â Becoming milder mid-week before a return to colder weather by Friday, with the prospect of further snow showers.
A break in the blog now, resuming Friday 21st/Saturday 22nd April to conclude the season.
