Calm & Clear — but Milder

Overnight, there were a few light snow showers, this was followed by a dry, calm day. It was also milder with the freezing at around 600 metres and slowly rising. Winds were very light from the South-West. Marginally bonded soft windslab is present in sheltered locations the deepest accumulations are on North to East aspects above 880 metres. Isolated deposits also exist on North-West and South-East aspects to a lesser extent. Gully exits and steep corrie headwalls are also affected with cornices soft and fragile. The avalanche hazard is Moderate.
