Frequent blustery snow showers
18th February 2020
Blustery snow showers these tended to be quite frequent and at times snow was lying on the roads at around 300 metres. Strong, West-South-Westerly winds were very strong over the summits transporting snow causing drifting in sheltered locations and forming unstable windslab deposits. Please see avalanche report for more detail.

Stob Coire nan Lochan during a clearer moment, figures in the centre of the photo ploughing through the drifts.
