Dry and fine with light Southerly winds.
4th March 2020
It was dry with reasonable visibility, winds were fresh over the summits from the South-West. The snowpack is staring to consolidate but localised instabilities still persist mainly on North to Easterly aspects above 850 metres.
Looking down a Northerly aspect on Meall a’ Bhuiridh. The snowpack has a slight crust on the surface which is helping to consolidate the poorly bonded snowpack.
Steep Easterly aspect on Meall a’ Bhuiridh, a skier started this avalanche at around 980 metres.
