Milder today and much cloudier, freezing level was around 600 metres, light snow showers fell to 500 metres. The winds were Northerly, fresh to strong. New snow amounts were not significant. Localised accumulations of Moderate to weakly bonded windslab is present mostly on North-West through North to East aspects above 840 metres. All windslab instabilities are on steep sheltered terrain with gullies mostly affected. Fragile cornices continue to develop in the lee of ridge crests. The avalanche hazard is Moderate.
