The lull before the storms

Dry conditions overnight these continued through the morning producing a much brighter day. Overnight, it had been a bit colder which formed some verglas on some rocks and paths. The weather quickly deteriorated by late afternoon with rain at lower elevations falling as snow on the tops……….. but it was dark by this time. The wind was strong through the day, gale force at times from a  SouthWesterly direction.
Stob Coire nan Lochan – note the snow patches in Broad Gully. Lets see what this looks like tomorrow.
