Another day of thaw

Thaw at all levels with the freezing level way above the tops. Â The burns were all in spate. A disgruntled mountain hare sped away conspicuous in its white winter coat among the exposed peat hags. Â At least the ptarmigan looked the part waddling round in the snow, higher up the hill.
The West Face of Aonach Dubh looked uninviting driving up the Glen.
Indistinct debris below the Flypaper – I was unclear when it had come down.
‘Creep’ in the snowpack.
Interesting water runnel patterns on the surface of the snow.
