Dry and settled with overnight frost.

17th March 2025

Only a limited snow cover remains mainly as patches in the higher Northerly and Easterly corries and gullies.

Dry and settled conditions with an overnight frost affected the area. The snow patches were initially firm and icy in places but softening through the day particularly where affected by solar radiation. Shaded areas such as gullies and more Northerly aspects remain firm and icy. Outlook for Tuesday is dry and settled with overnight frost. Expect firm and possibly icy conditions in shaded areas. Remaining snow stability generally good.
