Beinn a’ Chrulaiste

A dry but cold day in Glen Coe today. The East South East wind felt bitter. Not much change in the snowpack, but a bit of riming at higher levels due to the low cloud of the previous couple of days. Above about 600m water ice is forming on hillside and in some places on paths, and creates a potential slip hazard.

Areas of well bonded windslab just to the North-East of the summit. The Mamores in the background look like they have caught a little bit less snow than the Glen Coe hills.
