Leaving the carpark on the leeward North side of Buachaille Etive Beag there was no suggestion of how fierce the Southerly wind would be on the col and heading up to the summit of Stob Coire Raineach.
Still plenty of snow on the SE summit slopes of Stob Coire Raineach looking down into Glen Etive
Ptarmigan on N slopes of Stob Coire Raineach looking out of place on the grass
The Bidean Massif looks wintry enough, though.
