Lurking Graupel

Thankfully it was a bit calmer in Glen Coe today compared to the previous few days. However, the wind was still strong enough for drifting to occur at higher levels. There was some snow fall. Layers of windslab continue to be deposited on some weak layers of graupel which can be found lurking within the snowpack.

Fair bit of fresh snow at an altitude of around 800m on Buachaille Etive Beag.
Two buried layers of graupel were found at the snowpit site.
