Mild and very windy.

6th April 2024

Mild and very windy conditions with heavy overnight rain affected all levels reducing much of yesterdays fresh snow. There has been a return to drier and slightly cooler conditions today. The remaining snowpack is soft and moist in all locations.

Outlook is cooler with a dusting of new snow on the summits, winds will remain very strong with storm force affecting summits and exposed locations. See avalanche report for more details.
