Stormy conditions with rain, sleet and snow on higher slopes.

Windy conditions continue to scour snow from exposed slopes forming unstable accumulations in sheltered areas such as gullies and scarp slopes. Remaining cooler overnight with snow showers but becoming milder on Thursday with freezing levels rising to around 1200 metres. deeper accumulations of windslab will be unstable, cornices will be prone to collapse.
