Calm before the storm

8th February 2020

Some new snow  overnight on higher slopes gave way to a mainly dry morning with heavy showers returning later in the day. This may well increase the avalanche hazard for Saturday.

A very stormy outlook with new snow for the next couple of days, real Winter conditions at last?
