Glen Coe mist…

14th April 2022

Today was overcast, cloud base was around 850 metres with light rain at all levels. Summit temperatures were plus 5 degrees Celsius, Winds were light from a Southerly direction. The snowpack slowly continues to thaw and diminish at all elevations. Conditions were much brighter and drier in the afternoon.

Looking into Stob Coire na Lochan, Gearr Aonach on the left and Aonach Dubh on th right.

Northerly aspects of Sron na Creise still holding on to its snow.

Southerly aspect of the Aonach Eagach ridge mostly devoid of snow.

A misty day on Buachaille Etive Mor and beyond.
