A very wild wet day to start the year – at times it felt like the gusts were going to blow me off Beinn a Bheithir and deposit me back in my garden in Ballachulish.

The snowpack is much diminished so the forecast of falling temperatures and some snow is welcome. Â Remaining ferociously windy, though.
