Scouring.

In locations exposed the strengthening North Westerly winds, the soft snow which fell on Wednesday night was being scoured. This was being re-deposited as quite hard slab on top off layers of lower density, softer weak snow to create quite an unstable combination. I saw fresh looking avalanche debris on the South East face of Creise. Little change is expected during the next few days.

Windward aspects are generally pretty scoured.
Cracking underfoot at the edge of a drift. The fresh windslab is not very stable.
