A misty, moisty day

What a difference 24 hours makes – the temperature at the pit site was 8 degrees celsius higher today than yesterday. Â Some softening in the surface of the remaining snow but plenty of evidence of the rain water running down the surface of the snowpack because it is so consolidated.
