It’s Snowing : )

28th January 2017

It finally snowed today. It seems like a long time since we have had any fresh snow in Glen Coe, so it was pleasant to wander about in the snow today. The winds was light and there was a uniform layer of about 7cm above around 600 meters.

Two ptarmigan blending into the background more successfully that they would managed yesterday.

A uniform layer of fresh snow in some places overlaying deposits of old hard snow.

The view at at altitude of around 900 metres.

The Fly Paper ski run looking a little on the rocky side today.
