A fine wintry day

A fine wintry day with the snow down to 500 metres. Â The disposition of the snow is very patchy so there are deep drifts in places, scouring in others, making progress quite slow. Â Happy to pick up some fox tracks on Meall a Bhuiridh which kept me out of the worst of the drifts.

Cracking caused by footfall very evident today
My benefactors tracks – the foxes raised tracks preserved while the surrounding snow was blown away and redistributed elsewhere
