Misty morning, clearing later
1st February 2017
A misty morning but improving later. Â Light rain showers through the morning on Meall a Bhuiridh, but glimpses of blue sky driving back down the glen.

Quite wintry looking below the pit site (looking down the line of the Spring Run) – someone had skied it in the last couple of days!

Turn 180 degrees and look up towards the summit ridge and things don’t look so good – small patches of recent snow thawing.

Much better visibility driving back down the glen but not much snow on the North-East flank of the Buachaille

Join the dots – snow patches down the length of Summit Gully – the most visible feature on the North face of Stob Coire nam Beith
