New snow fell mainly above 450 metres with some sleet below this level. Light South-Westerly winds during the morning these strengthened around mid-day leading to some drifting at higher altitudes.

This picture taken yesterday is quite the contrast compared to the snowy scenes of today….. they will be a lot happier now.
