Blowing Snow.

2nd March 2017

Strong Westerly winds and snow showers meant from plenty of blowing snow in Glen Coe today.

The snowpack at 900 meters on Meall a Bhuiridh. The haziness in some part of the photo is due to snow blowing along the ground.

A fair bit of soft slab was being deposited into sheltered aspects such as this gully.

Plumes of spindrift catching the sunlight after being blown off the North ridge of Coire na Tulaich.
