Another settled day.

27th December 2017

It was another dry and calm day in Glen Coe today. Water ice is starting to form on bits of hillsides and sometimes on various paths. in the cold conditions. The patches of old snow continue to freeze,  yesterday the frozen layer was 9cm thick, today it was 24cm thick. More of the same expected tomorrow.

Nice light on a calm Loch Leven this Morning. Garbh Bheinn and the Ardgour hills catching the morning sunshine.

It was cold night with water ice on the hills (and some of the paths).

Frost Flowers forming in the cool overnight conditions.

Looking down the Glen. The top of Stob Coire nan Lochan and Bidean hiding in the cloud.
