Misty Glen Coe

21st December 2018

Light snow showers fell mainly above 830 metres with virtually no wind. At lower elevations it was a misty day. Freezing level was around 1000 metres.

Mist and clouds clinging to Creag Dhubh

Plenty of snow melt still running off the hills

This morning heading up to the North-East aspects of Meall a Bhuiridh

Lovely colours of Sphagnum moss in amongst the snow melt quite the contrast.

coming off the hill

Brighter spell on the way down. Very visibility for most of the morning.

Gear Aonach and Aonach Dubh in the misty conditions.
