Avalanche activity

Strong North-Westerly winds. Overnight snow showers clearing to give a dry afternoon. The freezing level rose to around 800 metres. Avalanche activity noted during our field tests today on North-East aspects.

Skier triggered slab avalanche on North-Easterly aspect, starting zone at 780 metres.
