Snow and more Snow

Today, visibility was poor with near whiteout conditions on the hill, winds were quite strong from a West-South-Westerly direction causing rapid drifting of snow into wind sheltered areas. Field tests during this morning showed significant weaknesses in the snowpack. Also, avalanche activity was noted in different locations in the glen, these happened on North-Easterly aspects with avalanche debris flowing down to lower levels.
