Another cloudy mild day.

Covid-19

The Scottish Avalanche Information Service would recommend that those wishing to enjoy the winter mountains refer to Mountaineering Scotland and Scottish Government advice regarding Covid-19 and outdoor activities.

The freezing level was around 1100 metres for most of the morning with light rain at most levels. The snowpack is moist but generally stable, thawing at lower elevations. There was some sleet over the highest summits where the snowpack is firmer.

Northerly aspect slopes above 850 metres on Meall a’ Bhuiridh.
