Covid-19

The Scottish Avalanche Information Service would recommend that those wishing to enjoy the winter mountains refer to Mountaineering Scotland and Scottish Government advice regarding Covid-19 and outdoor activities.

Another mild day which started off dry but rain soon spread in from the South. Winds were strong over the summits and it was generally quite dreich by midday. The snowpack continues to thaw at all levels it was 13.5 degrees celsius in Glencoe village this morning.

This morning on Meall a’ Bhuiridh before the rain started.

Looking at the summit slopes of Meall a’ Bhuiridh again before the rains engulfed the area.

This morning and same as above, looking northwards to Buachaille Etive Mor in the foreground with Mamores beyond.

With the rain looking into Stob coire nan Lochan.
