Overnight new snow.

Overnight new snow affected mainly the higher slopes with a slow gradual thaw continuing at lower levels. Outlook is for trace amounts of new snow with freezing level through the day rising to around the higher summits. Areas of windslab will persist in sheltered summit gullies and sheltered corrie rims.Cornices in these areas will remain suspect.
