New snow overnight and windy.

New snow affected slopes above 450 metres overnight giving a reasonable general cover, strong Southerly winds formed unstable windslab in sheltered areas such as summit gullies and NW-N-E slopes. The freezing level rose to around 1200 metres briefly today.

 

North Easterly aspect of Meall a Bhuiridh at 1000 metres, some minor avalanche debris was noted below this slope today, it is just about visible in the foreground. (light was very flat at the time for photography).
