Happy New Year

There was a dusting of snow at lower levels and around 5cm of soft unconsolidated snow at summit level in Glencoe today. This covered the icy crust that was present yesterday and made both skiing and walking conditions more pleasant.
There were light winds and only occasional snow showers but several layers of cloud made photography difficult.
