Continuing Wintery

15th March 2023

Today was dry but cloudy with some brighter intervals. South-Westerly winds were moderate to fresh around the higher summits with a freezing level around 700 metres. Redeposited snow on North to East aspects forming unstable slab in places.

Change coming over night with thawing conditions and wet snow instabilities.

Obvious signs of wind blown snow whilst journeying between Creag Dhubh and Meall a Bhuiridh.

Localised overnight drifting on North aspects around 850 metres.

Looking over to the North East aspects of Clach Leathad.

Views into Lairig Eilde and west towards the Three Sisters.
