Wet and Very Windy

The mild conditions continued today with persistent rain and gale force South-Westerly winds. Summit temperatures were around plus 4 degrees Celsius. Visibility was generally poor with higher summits not in view.

Lower level spate conditions flowing from Stob Coire nan Lochan.

 

The Glencoe forecast area extends south down towards the mountains around Glen Etive with iconic views such as Beinn Ceitlein and Stob Dubh.

The weather outlook for the next 24hrs is to remain mild and wet with further rain, which will be heavy and persistent during the day. The winds continue to be from the South-West, generally gale force with even stronger ‘storm force’ gusts.
