16th February 2024

Today was predominantly dry and calm, another mild day, summit temperatures were around plus two degrees celsius and the South-Westerly winds were very light.

The All nan Giubhas on Meall a’ Bhuiridh shedding plenty of snow melt and yesterdays rain.

At lower elevations the snow cover is thawing and slowly disappearing.

Looking towards the Rannoch Moor from Meall a’ Bhuridh.

Patches of ice still remain and the ground is still frozen above 900 metres.

The spring like conditions in Glen Coe today, most of the summits were in cloud.
