Misty with very light new snow.

25th March 2024

Misty conditions today with light snow above 700 metres, not the best day for photos.

Outlook is for light snow for the first half of the night then dry tomorrow, With only light snow expected localised avoidable areas of windslab will develop mainly around the tops of gullies and steep scarp slopes, in the event of heavier snowfall affecting the area reconsider route plans. (See Avalanche Report for more details).
